1. Data Controller

operates the hospitality & tourism staffing platform at jobsy.gr. Data protection contact: privacy@jobsy.gr.

2. Data we collect

  • Professionals: first/last name, email, phone, role, experience, skills, languages, work areas, accommodation preferences, salary expectations, CV.
  • Businesses: company name, VAT, contact details, address, subscription/billing data.
  • Automatically: IP, device/browser, platform activity, cookies (see Cookie Policy).

3. Purposes & legal bases

  • Account & service operation — contract.
  • Connecting professionals with employers — consent & legitimate interest.
  • Subscription payments — contract (via Stripe).
  • Analytics & marketing — consent (cookie banner).
  • Operational email notifications (e.g. when your profile is unlocked, new messages, invitations, account/billing) — contract / legitimate interest. You can opt out in “Email notifications” settings or via the “Unsubscribe” link in any email (essential account messages excepted).
  • Security, fraud prevention, legal duties — legitimate interest / legal obligation.

4. Who we share with

A professional’s contact details & CV are disclosed to an approved employer only if they hold an active subscription and “unlock” the profile. Also: payment processor (Stripe), hosting provider, and authorities where legally required. We do not sell data.

5. International transfers

Some processors (e.g. Stripe) may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards (SCCs).

6. Retention

We keep data while your account is active and as required by law. You may request deletion at any time.

7. Your GDPR rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdraw consent. Exercise via privacy@jobsy.gr. You may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

8. Security

Hashed passwords, private CV storage via signed links, access logging, role-based controls. No method is 100% secure.

9. Minors

The service is intended for individuals aged 18+.

10. Changes

We may update this policy and will notify you of material changes.
